Snowmen Cookies

Snowmen Oreo Cookies

Aren't these adorable? My friend Brieanna made them last year and I thought they were the perfect kid friendly Christmas cookie. I made them for the kids at church and they were fun to make and eat!

You will need oreo cookies, white chocolate morsels, Christmas M&Ms (or pull out the red and green ones of a regular bag) and frosting (made from confectionery sugar, vanilla extract and a little milk, and of course food coloring).

First melt your chocolate chips over a double boiler and dip your oreos, one by one. Set on a piece of wax paper to harden. Then have fun decorating! Make sure your icing is thin enough. I made a few small bowls and added food coloring (orange, black and red). I used little ziplocks for pastry bags and just clipped off the corner. I used a toothpick to do the black eyes and mouth. The M&Ms make really cute ear muffs!

Have fun making yours!
I served mine on a snowman plate. They would be really cute wrapped in cello bags, given in twos, and tied with a Christmas ribbon.

  1. SOOO cute. By the way how do you melt chocolate if you don't have a double broiler or should i just bite the bullet and buy one.

  2. Those are adorable. I am going to a cookie exchange next Sat. so I might make these...even though it's kind of cheating! They're just too cute.
