Giveaway - Gift Card to King Arthur Flour
Hello friends!
Have you noticed the new design and look of Pie Birds, Buttons and Muddy Puddles? My friend, Kira, from Kissing the Joy as it Flies is mad talented and designed the new look, complete with a custom header and button! I really love the image of the pie with the pie birds.
To celebrate the new look, and reaching 200 followers, I wanted to do a giveaway. King Arthur Flour is sponsoring this giveaway and has generously offered to give a $20 virtual gift card to their online store and catalogue. If you live locally, and would like to visit the King Arthur Store in Norwich, Vermont and spend your gift card in person, we can arrange that too!
This is really exciting for me, because I am a huge fan of King Arthur Flour. You have heard me rave about their flour (the only flour I will use!) and share my favorite recipes from KAF, and my experiences at the education center. King Arthur Flour also has their own baking blog, The Baker's Banter, which is a great source of inspiration AND information for home cooks. They provide a down-to-earth approach and step by step pictures that will make you feel confident taking on those recipes you never thought you master.

The KAF store in Norwich, Vermont is like a foodies' heaven! I love all the great kitchen products they have stocked, as well as baking mixes and baking products. They even have a bakery right in the store where you can buy breads and goodies, a cup of coffee, and even soups and sandwiches for lunch or a snack.

Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp
Basic White Loaf
If you live close enough, take a class at the Education Center. They offer a variety of classes on making breads and baking with whole grains, and if bread is not your thing, no worries, they offer some great Make a Meal classes too. The best part about the meal classes is that you come home from the class with dinner and dessert for 4. You can even take a class with a friend and split the cost!
